Christmas In July

"Oh the weather outside is frightful...." Today, the temps in PA are to be 100', very hot, humid, and hazy. What a great day to spend inside crafting winter themed cards! Actually, I am doing a workshop in a few weeks with "Christmas" being the theme. So, with a table full of winter papers, I couldn't resist doing a fun mitten card! In making this I was able to meet a few challenges:

Color Throwdown: #99 Cream, Chocolate and turquoise (with a bit of green and red too!)
a lot a rubber stamps: #38 Inside and Out ...decorate the inside of your card too!
the pink elephant: #74 3 layers, 2 die cuts and ribbon
stamp for the weekend: #42 christmas in july
corrosive challenges by janet: christmas in july
crazy challenges: make it in an hour
stamping sisters in christ: #46 to red and/or blue
just scraps: #14 make it a double...to use at least 2 of something and use what is on your table
one stitch at a time: #20 use ribbon, lace or a bow (used ric rac and waxy flax)
crazy 4 challenges: use 2 or more ribbons
