Cat in the Grass

I received this adorable new stamp yesterday from Shirleys2girls.com, for winning a challenge last week! I just love him!!! I made this card for the Use It Challenge this week:
- use your newest papers (sweet berry from K&Co.)
-name on card (Sally)
-one button (4 small ones)
-use sewing ( did faux stitching)

Yesterday, a group of gals that I used to work with got together to celebrate. I am thankful that Sally sent me an email with the invite (hence the card for her). She is also one of the few that are remaining in her current position- thus the perfect saying about not moving!
We had a delicious lunch at Panera Bread and I didn't realize how much I missed these women until our lunch yesterday. It has been almost 6 weeks since I lost my job- I didn't just lose my job, I realized how much I lost in the daily communication and sharing of our lives with my friends.

We set a date for next month and though it may become fewer get togethers as the months go on and we move into other positions, these women mean the world to me and helped me grow with my walk with our Lord over the past 20 months. I will forever be thankful to them.
