2 for tuesday....
This card is called "Pumpkin Patch". Don't you love my title? The pumpkin is patched together just like a quilt. See, I saw something similar a bit back on someone else's blog and said to self "I must find a stamp like that and try that." Self actually was out shopping and came across this cute stamp by Clear G Studio $1.00. Love It!! Never did self think that we would find such a stamp! I created the card for 365 Cards, Day #198, Mosiac. Each square is 1", still a standard sized card, pumpkin is 2.5" sq. Prima flower, misc embellies and distress ink finish the card.
And this card used up the last of a kit from CTMH, Amore, I think.... The challenges were from 1) Lord Have Mercy #39 was a sketch and #2) Card-a-licious #27 to use flowers, ribbon and the color red. Check all 3. I love how the scallop scissors create the illusion of a large flower on the card to go with the smaller flowers on the bottom.
Off to vacuum the dog bunnies (haha!) and to get ready for back to school night for the 2nd day in a row....
Come back tomorrow for some sneak peeks from Sherrod Studios new stamp line which you can purchase on Saturday!

Sweet Baby.... Cute Card Thursday Challenge

Looking thru the gazillion stamps in my stash, nope, nada, nothing except the baby carriage. So my poor attempt at a 'wheel' card is this. Some of the cards on this site are AMAZING- where do they get those fab stamps?????
Use some old papers Kris gifted to me, scallops to edge the last oval and a stamp from Studio G Clear stamps. MS satin ribbon to finish off the look. Simple, clean and ready to give.

Erin Go Bragh!
The phrase is a corruption of the Irish "Éire go brách", or "Éirinn go Brách". The term "brách" is equivalent to "eternity" or "end of time", meaning the phrase may be translated literally as: "Ireland until eternity" or "Ireland until the end (of time)". The form "Éirinn go bráth" or "Éire go bráth" which also means "Ireland forever" or literally "Ireland until the Day of Judgment", is also used.
Supplies: My Minds Eye: Wild Asparagus Pack, Cranberry organdy ribbon, ClearG stamp set, cranberry and white daisy cardstock.Quick and simple for today. I made 2 very different styled cards for St. Patty's Day- one more playful, the other more sentimental. The 2nd came together as I was looking for a "heart" stamp for another card and realized how simple it would be to use a heart for a part of a clover. I know many of you out there do the same thing, it just took me a bit longer LOL! The first card used a challenge from SCS, #219 I think....
So a blessing for you before you go-
When Irish eyes are smiling,
Tis like a morn in spring.
With a lilt of Irish laughter
You can hear the angels sing
When Irish hearts are happy
All the world is bright and gay
When Irish eyes are smiling
Sure, they steal your heart away.
May your blessings outnumber
The shamrocks that grow
And may trouble avoid you
Wherever you go.
Supplies: All CTMH products unless noted: Topiary B&T paper (reversed), topiary ink, Heartfelt stamp set, black cardstock, white daisy cardstock, black bigger brads and ClearG stamps Kiss Me I'm Irish set for the sentiment.
