For my "Birds of a Feather" Card Workshop approaching at the end of February, I decided that I was going to play with my Cricut machine and the many cartridges I own. I wanted to make a big bird for the card's focal point and found this particular one on the Home Accents cartridge. The paper is from CTMH, a long ago retired pattern. As I was working on the bird and using the colors from the DP, I found some scraps of musical notes DP, but not enough to make 8 card kits. So now the bird and songs were in my head, I knew I needed a good sentiment to pull it all together! The saying is from Maya Angelou, which I saw on SCS and thought is was perfect!
I am entering this into the blog challenges:
"this and that" on 365 Cards, Day 332 for the "this-yellow" and the "that-cheery".
Belli Challenge #109: P is for ?, purple, pink, pearls
CASE study #24, by Mercy Kerin: used pink, purple and 8x4 card long
Paper Play challenges: #4, layer it up! lots of layers here!
stampin bee's design: #95 use a song, I used the creative liberty of the word sing and song in my sentiment (and the song rockin' robin was in my head as I made this...hehehe!)
