Fly Away!

todays card is for the sketch challenge site, Card Patterns #22. I love this site and the talent on there is mindblowing! I really went out of the box on this challenge! Used a new pack of paper K&Co. for the patterned paper, then cut a transparency for the middle stripe. Used some scissors to make the edge in a jagged cut like the sketch. Bobunny rubons for the stripe and the background for the butterfly to sit. The butterflies (highlighted in the 2nd photo to show you what I did in detail) came from GreenDay and I used 2 of them- the first one plopped on the cardstock, the 2nd one, took flour to kill the stick, then bent the wings to give dimension and made sure the middle, while still sticky adhered to the bottom butterfly. MS butterfly stamp to cut out 2 addt'l ones, added pearls to them, rhinestones and staz-on black swirl (since it was on atransparency). Loved how this card turned out!!!

Thanks Kris for the great embellishments!
